I began screen printing fliers in college with no real idea of what I was doing. I knew how to print on fabric but paper printing was a whole other challenge. After a couple years of making 1-2 color prints I built a vacuum table press out of a spare table in our shed and really got into learning the process with a 9-color screen print.

Watching Little Friends of Screen-Printing on Instagram really helped guide my process. I’ve since printed thousands of posters for events in Texas and beyond. I also have taught a flatstock screen-printing artist residency with Trucha RGV in 2024 and a few screen-printing day workshops at Cactus Valley Art. This is one of my favorite processes for making art.
