FRISSON MORPH

SHOKKA’s exhibit at Meow Wolf’s Houston location - Radio Tave

Frisson Morph is a series of 36 wood cut outs of a 36-frame morph animation. The animation depicts the experience of transforming your mood through music - listening to different instruments that work together to reach your heart and mind to cause the listener to experience frisson and transcend into the cymatic realm. Frisson Morph is accompanied by an augmented reality experience where users open different portals on specific frames to reveal segments of the animation until they reach the final portal that shows the full 36-frame morph animation.

Thank you to Sam from Refract Studios for building out the AR experience. And thank you to Chelsea from Meow Wolf for helping me see this project through.
