I began teaching myself how to animate in college and continued developing the skill while working for Slug Global after graduation. I was creating about 2 short animated gifs for clients and the company for about a year to teach myself the skill.

I was making longer and longer animations for different clients and projects until I got the opportunity to do a few music videos. The first big project I got to do was Mac Miller’s ‘Frick Park Market’ for Rostrum Records. I spent about 5 weeks drawing morning to night to get the music video completed. All in all each fully animated music video averaged at 2,000 individual illustrations.

I’ve since taught a morph animation class at Cactus Valley Art in Harlingen TX. I’ve also created physical wood-cut frames of a morph animation for Meow Wolf’s Radio Tave. I’m looking forward to making more cool animations.
